Close to Åndalsnes town you find the start of the most challenging and breathtaking Via Ferrata in Norway! Join professional guides from Norwegian Mountaineering Centre on this magical vertical adventure!
The West Wall route is a much more challenging, and a harder summiteer route than the Intro route. Reasonable fitness and ability required. The climb takes you to the top of Nesaksla, where you get a magnificent view of the Romsdalen valley. The climb is more exposed, vertical and thrilling, as well as including an airy bridge crossing. The West wall route takes approx. 7 hrs return, and is a fully professional guided ascent secured to the mountain by cable always. On the way there are adrenaline inducing spots to climb, and good break points with incredible views.
West Wall grading: D – International via ferrata scale
