Visit Norway’s highlights in one day!
A unique bus trip through one of the most beautiful parts of the world. Natural beauty everywhere you look! The highlights are lined up.
The roundtrip starts from Åndalsnes train station. You can enjoy an exciting bus trip visiting the famous attractions Trollstigen, Ørnesvingen and Geiranger. The bus takes you up the 11 dramatic hairpin bends in Trollstigen, where you can enjoy a 25 minutes break for photography. The bus continue to the beautiful lush strawberry hills of the village of Valldal. Mighty, steep mountains surround Tafjord and the small rural communities along the fjord. For generations, the population had to live with the wild forces of nature. Avalanches and floods pose today a threat for those who live here. A short ferry ride from Valldal to Eidsdal, where the bus drives through Geiranger – Herdalen conservation area. Before heading down to Geiranger you pass Ørnesvingen, the view point of the hairpin bends that lead down to the Geiranger Fjord. From here you can see the wonderful fjord landscape, which is among the most beautiful in the world, inscribed on UNESCO World Heritage Site list because of the unique natural qualities.
After a short visit in Geiranger (1 hour) the bus is heading back to Åndalsnes. First stop is the upper viewpoint, Ørnesvingen, and a 15 minutes break. Here you can really enjoy the magnificent views of Geiranger, Geiranger fjord, the waterfalls “Seven sisters” and rural mountain farm Knivsflå or enjoy the sight of the many cruise ships on the fjord. There will be another 25 minutes stop at Trollstigen.
If you want to be more flexible on the return journey you should consider book one way tickets instead of the roundtrip. Here are the one way trips:

We can also reccommend the roundtrip that will include the Art Nouveau town of Ålesund, Geiranger fjord, Geiranger town, The Eagle’s bend, and Trollstigen, before arriving back in Åndalsnes. This is a flexible tour where you book single distances, which allows you to stay overnight in Ålesund and Geiranger.
