All bookings at are made through Romsdal Booking, owned by Romsdal Reiseliv og Handel (referred to as RRH).

When making your booking through Romsdal Booking, it is implied and accepted that you have read and understood all of these booking conditions and agree to abide by them. Please note that the product suppliers in most cases also has their own, customized terms & conditions.

While a lot of effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of all of the information, advertising material for the products, Romsdal Booking cannot be held responsible for any inaccuracies.

Prices and Payment

All prices quoted in the booking system at are in Norwegian kroner (NOK) including VAT and all taxes, unless something else clearly stated in the text. There is currently no tourist tax in the region.

Payment takes place using one of the accepted payment cards/credit cards in online booking, including Visa and Mastercard.

Booking in advance

Booking can be made through our online booking on the website The total amount must be paid in advance when the booking is made. The credit cards accepted are Visa and Mastercard. Your booking contract begins on the date your payment is received on the bank account.

Do you have special needs or requests, please indicate this in the Special request-field in the booking form. The product owners will try their very best to meet the requests, but cannot guarantee to do so, and will not be held liable for any failure to do so.

Booking receipt

The order summary can be printed directly from the website after your booking, and it is also sent to your e-mail as a receipt. Once the booking is confirmed the credit card payment is accepted, and the card will be charged the full amount.

To change a booking contact the vendor directly. The e-mail can be found on the order confirmation.


In case of cancelling a booking the product vendor should receive a written notification within a reasonable time. If you wish to cancel your purchase, please check out the vendor’s cancellation policy. In the booking process you have read and agreed to the terms and conditions for the chosen product. If no custom terms and conditions are described in the booking form for the product, this general rule will apply:

  • Cancellation more than 30 days before the start date = a fee of NOK 200.
  • Cancellation between 30 and 14 days before the start date the customer will get 75% of the purchase price refunded.
  • Cancellation of stay 7 – 13 nights before start date the customer receive 50% of the purchase price.
  • If the cancellation is made less than 7 days before start date, or in cases where the customer does not show up there will be no refund of the amount.

The cancellation must be sent directly to the vendor’s e-mail address. You find the e-mail address on the order confirmation.

Force majeure

RRH will plan to carry out the activities as advertised, however due to the nature of the trips, the itineraries have to remain flexible. If a trip is likely to be changed or cancelled under special circumstances caused by weather or nature, technical problems, etc. you will be informed as soon as possible. If it is not possible to set up an adequate alternative, and the result is a cancelled trip/activity, you will be entitled to a full refund of any payments made to Romsdal Booking.

Romsdal Booking will not be held responsible if sightseeing, hiking or fishing days are lost due to weather conditions. Romsdal Booking cannot be held responsible for activities being a part of the trip gets cancelled due to conditions out of our control.

If Romsdal Booking cancels your trip, Romsdal Booking will not be liable for any expenses which may have incurred as a result of your booking.

If you are not able to participate in the activity due to illness or injury, or any other obstacles that may occur, then Romsdal Booking is not obliged to offer alternative activities for you. There will be no refund. In this case we refer to the rules for cancellations.

Your own risk

You must ensure you have insurance to cover your activity booking from the date the booking is made through Romsdal Booking. Your insurance must cover you for all of the trip, as well as travel and personal insurance. You must ensure you have adequate cover for cost of health assistance in the event of a medical emergency.

You understand and accept the risks involved with the activities of your trip. You understand and accept the risks involved with participating in action based activities. You participate at your own risk and responsibility.

Romsdal Booking is not liable for the following;

• Weather or any other unforeseeable or unavoidable conditions

• Illness, injury or death sustained on a trip

• Loss of personal belongings

If you have any special medical needs, allergies or dietary requirements it is your own responsibility to inform us at the time of booking.


Lov om Angrerett Chapter 5 §19 addresses the limitations of consumer law. In Norwegian phrase point b says that “Ved annet fjernsalg enn telefonsalg gjelder angreretten ikke for enkeltstående tjenester dersom selger ved avtaleinngåelsen forplikter seg til å levere tjenesten på et bestemt tidspunkt eller innenfor et bestemt tidsrom”. Practically this means no withdrawals for all individual services delivered at a specific date or within a specific period of time, and thus applies to all products like accommodation, excursions, transport and activities sold by Romsdal Booking.
